Your lips may feel tender, appear swollen, and have a stronger colour than expected. This is completely normal and will soften over the next few days.
First 24-48 hours

Keep lips clean and avoid touching them with unwashed hands
Apply the recommended healing balm regularly to keep lips hydrated.
Days 2-7 (Healing Phase)
Expect light scabbing or flaking - do not pick or peel.
Continue apply aftercare balm to prevent dryness.
Avoid spicy, salty, or acidic foods that may irritate the lips.
Drink through a straw where possible to minimise contact.
Things to avoid During Healing
No kissing or friction on the lips.
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning beds, and saunas.
Do not use makeup or skincare products on the lips until fully healed.
Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and excessive sweating.

The colour will appear lighter and more natural.
Lips may go through a “faded” phase before the true colour resurfaces.
